Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Intelligence Manager to support our go-to-market (GTM) efforts, operational and financial KPIs, driving the data that identifies our progress guiding prospects from product introduction to purchase. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless customer journey, optimizing conversion rates, and highlighting actionable insights to support critical decision-making across sales, marketing and operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration experience, and a passion for delivering data-driven results.  The ideal candidate will bring a minimum 3 years of software industry experience and an MBA mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Journey Analysis:
    • Analyze customer behavior and engagement metrics during the product trial phase for Akka’s solutions.
    • Identify trends, pain points, and opportunities to improve conversion rates from trial to purchase.
  2. Data-Driven Insights:
    • Develop dashboards and reports to track account performance, customer interactions, and sales funnel metrics specific to Akka.io’s offerings.
    • Present actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders across sales, marketing, finance and product teams at all levels.
  3. Process Optimization:
    • Collaborate with GTM teams to streamline data gathering processes that determine the user satisfaction levels for Akka’s cloud-native tools.
    • Propose and implement A/B tests to optimize touchpoints within the purchase journey.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with product managers, sales teams, and marketing leaders to align strategies and priorities.
    • Act as a liaison to ensure consistent messaging and seamless transitions throughout the customer lifecycle.
  5. Market Research:
    • Stay informed of market trends and customer needs to inform GTM strategies for Akka’s solutions.
  6. Leadership and Mentorship:
    • Act as a Lead for building automation on reporting, dashboards and business alerts for stakeholders as the backbone for data-driven decision making in real-time.
    • Lead cross-functional discussions and advocate for data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • MBA degree preferred, with recent executive level presentation skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the software industry, preferably in SaaS or technology-focused roles.
  • Proven track record as a Lead in corporate business analysis and GTM strategy support.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Quantive, NetSuite) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Strong understanding of GTM strategies, sales funnel optimization, measuring the effectiveness of various Marketing efforts, including product-led growth (PLG) models.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in questioning the status quo, evaluating and improving upon current motions with experience verifying the data points and investigating potential determining factors of current trends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with customer feedback tools and methods (e.g., NPS, surveys, user interviews).
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages.
